How do I enrol onto a course?
We have made enrolling into our courses as easy as possible. Using our “Training” drop down menu, you will see all the courses we offer both in person and online. Once you have found the course that you would like to enrol onto, follow the page to the bottom where you will find an “Enrol Now” button. This will take you through to the purchasing page where you can choose your preferred training date.
If you need any help deciding on which course is for you or want to look at dates that we do not have listed online, please do not hesitate to contact us. Please email info@australianlashacademy.com and a member of our team will be able to help you!
Once you have enrolled, we will send you an enrolment form along with all the training day information. We can’t wait to train you soon 😀
What is included in my training?
Each course description has a full list of what is included so you will know exactly what to expect. This will let you know both the content and inclusions to expect in each specific training
Do I get a kit?
This is entirely up to you. All of our face to face training include a kit, however our online courses come with options with and without a kit so you can decide which you would prefer. The exact kit contents will vary based on the course you choose, as the items you will need/use will be different depending on whether you are doing Classic/Russian Volume Eyelash Extensions or Lash Lifts.
Each course description has a note of the specific kit inclusion included. We are passionate about making your kit very relevant so you will walk away with all the items that you will need and USE.
You will also receive 10% off our online store for life (your discount can be used on top of any other discount, unless otherwise stated)
If a kit is not included/applicable in your course then this will be mentioned in the course description and inclusions. For example, Eye Styling and Business courses do not have kits.
If I complete my course online, is face to face training needed?
Not at all!
Online is an amazing way to learn as it can offer you the freedom and flexibility to learn any time you want, at your own pace and with content that you can go back to and re-watch.
We provide you with all the in-depth information you need to not only learn, but master lashing. You do not need to complete any face to face training.
However we all learn and thrive differently, so if you would like to add on an in person training also, we do have this option too. Whether you want a little extra confidence or just want someone to watch over your technique in person and make sure you are on the right path, we do have options for half day and full day training that can be added onto any course.
If I complete my course online, is there an option to add on an in person practical training or do i need to do the entire course face to face?
Absolutely!
You can choose to add on either a half day or full day ‘in person’ training (Melbourne only) for a small additional fee. You will not be required to take the entire full course, but simply hone in on the core elements you would like us to recap in person.
How long is the course?
This depends on the specific course you choose. They vary from one day through to five days depending on the content being covered.
The courses generally run between 9am-5pm although this can change.
What days do you run training?
Our training runs exclusively on weekends.
Can the trainer come to me if needed?
Yes absolutely! We can travel to you if that is your preference. We can travel to you throughout Victoria. Interstate and international travel will be revisited once restrictions change in the future.
There is a travel fee added depending on the location.
Our past students that have preferred us to travel to them have partnered their training with other friends to share the travel costs which could be an option that works for you 🙂
Will I receive a certificate after completing my course?
Yes, you will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of every course!
Upon successfully submitting your case studies you will also receive a Certificate of Competency and an Australian Lash Academy watermark seal.
What if I need to change my training dates?
We understand that life happens and sometimes unexpected things come up. We require 7 days’ notice to change your training date.
Please email us as soon as possible at info@australianlashacademy.com if you need to change the date so we can open your place back up and reschedule you onto the next available preferred date.
Full terms and conditions are provided when you enrol into your course.
How many people are in each class?
We want you to walk out of your training with all the confidence, knowledge and support you need to not only be great but be amazing! Therefore our courses will be private (1 on 1) or up to 2 students maximum. We keep our class sizes extremely small so you will get the best development from our time. People learn differently, so by having small class sizes, we are confident that you will get the most out of it and be able to focus on your strengths and weaknesses. (Melbourne training dates).
Interstate training class sizes vary from 1-4 students maximum.

I have seen other courses that are only half a day or one day, can you offer these?
Yes and no. Grab a glass of wine and we will tell you why.
Yes….If you have completed our online courses there is an option to add a half day or full day in person training in Melbourne (for an additional fee). This is designed as extra support training for any students that would like to go through the training further in person or have someone teach and watch over the practical elements. This is not a stand alone option without any prior course completion.
If you have not completed a lash course before, then hold your breath……No way! The reason being is that it is simply not enough. The industry is currently flooded with sub-standard training and we are not one of them. There is no such thing as an ‘express’ amount of information to learn.
Whether you choose to lash as a hobby, side business, or full time career….you need to know the exact same amount of information. It is simply impossible to cover the amount of content needed in such a short amount of time. These short courses may tell/show you how to physically stick an extension onto a natural lash, but it will not teach you much else. There is so much theory to learn before you even pick up a pair of tweezers!
By choosing a bad training course, you will actually end up costing yourself more money and time in the long run.
Take it from us (we have re-trained a lot of lash artists) if you are looking for quick courses, then you will be compromising the quality of the training and your ability and understanding when you finish. If cheap and quick are your essentials, then we will be honest, we are not for you.
We have run our courses for years and have evolved them throughout this time. Our focus has always been on comprehensive training and providing you with the correct foundation in lashing to grow a successful lashing career. We give you all the information, tools and support you need to master your new skill.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes you can. We require a small booking fee (which is redeemable against the cost of your training) to secure your place, then you can pay the remainder in weekly or monthly instalments if you prefer.
Online you have the option to set up your payment plan via After Pay or Payright. You can also be set up on a private payment plan with us directly by emailing info@australianlashacademy.com . When setting up a private payment plan, the full course balance does need to be completed prior to your training.
Do you offer in-salon training for my staff?
Yes we can definitely do this for you. Please email our team at info@australianlashacademy.com and let us know the team size and location and we can get back to you with a tailored training quote.
Do you run training courses interstate?
Yes we do. Specific courses and dates vary and are based on minimum numbers.
